STARS OF BRAVO…

With season 3 right around the corner, lets take a stroll down memory lane of the ICONIC moments of season 2. Kicking off the season LeeAnne, Cary, Brandi, and Stephanie returned along with 2 new faces, Kameron Westcott and D’Andra Simmons. OG Tiffany Hendra returned as a “friend of” this season while no sites of season 1 friend Marie Reyes. With new faces and new friendships formed, season 2 was destined to be a hit. Before getting into my thoughts on the cast, season, and awards; Here is my comedic episode breakdown of the season.

THE BREAKDOWN…

S2E1- LOOK WHO’S NOT TALKING:

The ladies take sides as the feud between Stephanie and Brandi comes to light. LeeAnne and Brandi formed a friendship. Old police reports come to surface about LeeAnne’s past. We are introduced to newbies Kameron and D’Andra. Cary throws Mark a birthday party where tension between Brandi and Stephanie comes to a head.

S2E2- HAUTE DOGS OF DALLAS:

Alliances shift when Stephanie makes a play to put a wedge between Brandi and LeeAnne’s friendship. Travis buys a big ole mansion, unaware to Stephanie. D’Andra heads to the office to discuss business with Mamma Dee. The ladies attend a Howl-O-Ween dog costume contest.

S2E6- DON’T CRY OVER SPILLED TEA:

Rich’s surprise proposal stuns LeeAnne at the state fair, way to go Rich. D’Andra decides to host a “honest-tea”, inviting all the ladies. In an attempt to coerce her beloved back-talking bitches, D’Andra lays down the law, and gavel, as the group answer pipping hot question from the teapot. Kameron gives brandi a lesson on etiquette. Order in the court is not restored after LeeAnne calls cary the Big-C! LeeAnne announces her “Tit-rejuvenation” by a vagina doctor, as per Cary.  As tension settles, the group discusses a trip to Mexico.

S2E7- VIVA LA MEXICO:

Kameron wins over Court’s pink heart as he agrees to invest in Sparkle Dog. D’Andra and Cary fire rounds as Brandi drops bombs about LeeAnne’s allegations. After some much-needed shopping and champs, the ladies prepare to embark on their Mexican getaway.

S2E8- A MOUTHFUL IN MEXICO:

With bags packed and a compact in the titties, the ladies finally arrive in Mexico for a weekend adventure. Brandi’s friend, sexual chocolate, joins the ladies at brunch, unamused by Kameron. LeeAnne shares the news of her engagement with D’Andra. Cary confronts LeeAnne about the allegations made. Cary, Stephanie, and Brandi enjoy the sand and small (penis) talk.

S2E9- YOU’VE YACHT TO BE KIDDING:

D’Andra makes ladies participate in a team building exercise, special guest appearance by Big Bird, as per Brandi. Stephanie and Brandi embark on a journey to recover sexual chocolate from the abyss, aka LeeAnne’s ass. Later the group board a yacht, not Sonja’s, for an evening cruise from hell. Sick of the drama and motion, Stephanie hurls chunks while the girls hurl insults in the background. Returning to land, Kameron jumps ship to get away from immature ‘trashy” Brandi.

S2E10- DON’T CRY OVER SHATTERED GLASS:

Back in the BIG-D, Cary rounds up all the drama, informing Mark. Tension lingers between Stephanie, Brandi, and Cary about the yacht trip. The ladies attend Brandi’s winter wonderland party where sparks, and glass, shatter relationships in the group. Infuriating Brandi, secrets are spilled about the neighborhood nanny.

S2E11- LADIES WHO LAUNCH:

The who’s who of Dallas doggy society attend the launch of Kameron and Louie’s new dog food line, Sparkle Dog. D’Andra deals with set backs at the cosmetic lab, postponing the launch of L22. LeeAnne and Mark come face to face for the first time since rumors started to swirl. Cary sets the record straight about her relationship with Mr. Sheffield, shutting down Brandi’s allegations.

S2E12- THE BEGINNING OF THE END:

The finale kicks off with champion and celebrations at LeeAnne and Rich’s engagement party. D’Andra bites the bullet, informing Mamma Dee of the product set backs. With her friendship with Stephanie and Cary restored, Brandi turns the tables on LeeAnne. The group attends D’Andra’s brunch celebrating bride to be LeeAnne. Dessert is served with a side of back stabbing and betrayal by Brandi, leaving LeeAnne stunned. The 3 amigos storm out leaving Kameron, LeeAnne, and D’Andra in shock of what took place.

UNTIL NEXT TIME….

CAST REVIEW…

LEEANNE LOCKEN:

QUEEN….Need i say more? From over the top moments, to iconic quotes, LeeAnne has earned the center star for a second season in a row. She is funny, entertaining, and true to who she really is. LeeAnne is the Queen of Dallas, and that will never change. Her humanitarian efforts and passion for helping others is outstanding.

CARY DEUBER:

One of the strongest woman on the cast, Cary handles everything thrown at her about her family like a boss! Her confessionals are wildly entertaining this season, and she has grown so much from season 1. Taking a step back from the OR, Cary has been focusing more time at home with Zuri, making her a true Real Housewife!

STEPHANIE HOLLMAN:

Personally I feel Stephanie was the break out star of the season 2. With her friendship with Brandi on the rocks, Stephanie really stepped out gaining her independence on camera. Even after rekindling with her bestie, she remained in the spotlight on her own opening up about the struggles of motherhood. Renovations underway, Travis traded those daily list for trump checks as Stephanie designed her big ole mansion.

BRANDI REDMOND:

Brandi has stepped up her game season 2, as she rightfully earned that second center star. Her journey through the ups and downs of friendship are what drove the season to a dramatic conclusion. Brandi opened up this season about struggling with pregnancy, making her story very relatable by viewers. With Stephanie by her side, the 2 are comedy gold when it comes to Reality TV.

D’ANDRA SIMMONS:

After her debut on Bravo, D’Andra has won us all over with her elegance and class, earning my favorite new housewife of 2017. Unlike many new housewives looking for the quickest endorsement deal, D’Andra had her business empire, prior to Reality TV. D’Andra is an educated, beautiful, strong woman; Making her the perfect Real Housewife! With the keys to the empire, D’Andra is going to take over the beauty community.

KAMERON WESTCOTT:

Portraying a con as old as hair die, this season we’ve learned that Kameron is much more than your typical blonde. She’s funny, classy, and taking over the doggie community. With the help of little Louie Vuitton Westcott, Kameron has built a name for herself after launching Sparkle Dog. Gaining her independence from Court, Kameron is spreading her pink sparkle across america, one kibble at a time. Watch out LVP, there is a new pink princess in the franchise!

FINAL THOUGHTS…

Closing out season 2 i would rank this season as one of the BEST Real Housewives season’s in the franchise. Unlike some cities that get real dark with the storyline, RHOD ladies have managed to keep the drama entertaining, without going to a point of no return. They are funny, glamorous, and stealing the hearts of Bravo fans one episode at a time. I think what sets RHOD apart from other franchises is the humble cast and relatability to there lives. They deserve extra complimentary for the outstanding effort interacting with fans on social media. As a fan, one of the best parts about watching is being able to interact with the ladies during episodes. Season 3 is a wrap and i couldn’t be more excited for the woman to have another chance to keep us entertained. Below is my Real Housewives Awards for season 2 of RHOD. until next time…
